This is a totally different game then Halo3. You can imply stealth to get around with The Rookie and then stealth around building to not fight hunters or other big enemies. Firefight mode is great and addicting, if it had matchmaking it would be a lot better but I guess playing with friends can be more fun.

I agree about the matchmaking thing, mostly because Halo 3 is almost 4 years old, so really the controls and gameplay is very...well ancient already. Its hard to go from the controls and weapons from ODST back to the old Halo 3
Actually, Halo 3 came out 2 years ago tomorrow. Not exactly ancient, especially since both games use the same engine. And what a great engine it is. I'm always surprised at how quickly the game loads for how complex some of the levels are.
While the game engine isn't ancient, it is showing its age. I always say graphics don't mean anything about a game. But they do need to up the graphics with Halo. Which is what I'm hoping Halo: Reach does. But for a hold over to Halo: Reach, all I can say is I'll be playing ODST a lot.
Amen to that what is the latest news on Reach??

I have no clue, Bungie is being real quite about Reach. Hopefully we will hear something in early 2010
@highprioritymale i lose track of time, feels like 4 years ago.
I wasn't trying to be a dick, I actually had to look it up myself when I read "4 years" because that just didn't sound right. I gotta give Bungie a lot of props for putting ODST together in 14 months since they didn't have to build a new engine. Check this out:
